
CHIBI MERCY
Mercy of Overwatch was the second test project done for "JrPencil" 3D artists competition "Project SculpTHOR" along "Totoro model" , were I had to translate their work into fully rendered 3D sculptures.
From my point of view, i feel i did pretty good on this model, but I believe I could do better on maintaining the face proportion so it could fit the character's concept art more. The biggest challenge in this project was the time limit. I had to finish the detailed character before the deadline, when I realized then that I pulled an all-nighter for a whole two weeks later on.
The same as totoro's model process, Mercy's character base model was modeled in Metasequoia, then transferred to Zbrush for adding further details, and later on transferred to 3D coat for UV unwrapping and hand paint texturing.
